Meet Our Team

Liberty is the friendly face you will see leading our front desk team! She will be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have while visiting our office.

Liberty was born and raised in Sumter County and continues to reside there with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

In Liberty's free time she enjoys spending time with her family on the boat or at the beach.

Kalee is the first smiling face you will meet when you enter Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. Kalee received her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and Administration from Florida International University.

Kalee was born and raised in Florida, but she loves to travel and experience other places. When she is not working, Kalee enjoys spending time with her family...especially when they are visiting the Disney Parks.

Tearsa, Team Leader

Tearsa is our Team Leader and oversees the day to day operations of our practice.

Tearsa first began working with Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry as a consultant/trainer for matters involving the complexities of dental insurance plans. She has many years of experience as a consultant in those matters. After recognizing her talents and her leadership abilities, we offered her a position on our team as our Team Leader which she accepted.

Tearsa and her family moved to Florida from Michigan. They currently reside in Clermont, Florida and enjoy frequent visits to Disney World.

Laurie verifies insurance benefits and billing claims for our patients. She has been in the dental field for over 29 years including experience as an expanded functions dental assistant. Laurie lives in Brooksville with her husband and extended family. She enjoys reading, going to concerts and spending time with her family and grand child.

Zelda joined our team at Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2009.

Zelda was born in San Antonio, Texas and lived in Texas until she moved to Bushnell in 2009. Prior to joining Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Zelda was a salon manager for JC Penney Company. During her tenure at JC Penney, Zelda managed a team of 35 stylists and was a salon manager for over 13 years.

Zelda resides in Sumter County with her husband and their many pets. Some of Zelda's favorite activities are spending time with family, beach time, and crafting.

Darlene, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), Dental Hygiene Department Head (Team member since 2005).

Darlene is the leader of our Dental Hygiene Department. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Darlene has been a licensed hygienist in the State of Florida since 1991 and in 2013 she earned her Certification to Administer Local Anesthesia. In 2017, Darlene completed a multi-day advanced oral health training program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Prior to joining our team at Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Darlene worked with Dr. Novak in Hernando County, Florida. Darlene joined Bushnell Family & Cosmetic Dentistry within the first few months of its founding in 2005.

Darlene and her family live in Pasco County. She enjoys spending time with her family and being near the water.

Emily, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) (Team member since 2010).

Emily graduated from Pasco Hernando Community College with her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2013, she earned her Certificate to Administer Local Anesthesia. In 2017, Emily completed a multi-day advanced oral health training program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Born and raised in Dade City, FL, Emily now resides in the nearby town of Brooksville with her two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and boating with her family.

Carolyn is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Team member since 2006) with over 18 years of dental knowledge and experience.

Carolyn earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification and her Dental Radiology Certification from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

As a member of our team, Carolyn has received years of advanced dental technique training at many locations around the US and Canada. Carolyn attended E4D University in Dallas, Texas and Glidewell Laboratories in Irvine, California for the design and fabrication of porcelain and resin restorations using CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) systems. Carolyn completed advanced training in neuromuscular / physiologic dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carolyn was a certified Trios trainer for 3shape Technologies and Henry Schein as well as a certified Phlebotomist. Carolyn is trained in assisting with administration of facial filler, botox and other aesthetic services. Carolyn has worked with all of our team specialists and dental professionals and in her non-patient focused time, helps to develop and implement training and protocols for our office.

Carolyn enjoys working with our dentists on the most advanced dental procedures including dental implants, smile makeovers and full mouth restorative cases.

Carolyn was born and raised in Sumter Co, FL and now resides in Citrus Co. with her husband Jeff, her daughter Rylan and bonus son Wyatt. Carolyn's free time is spent with family and friends and enjoys trips to the beach, boating, and other outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.

Kelley, Certified Restorative Functions Dental Assistant (CRFDA)

She earned her Restorative Functions Dental Assistant Certificate from The University of Florida in June 2022 and has her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Tampa.

Kelley was in the first CRFDA class in the State of Florida, and is one of the few assistants that are now able to place fillings. Kelley was born and raised in Sarasota, FL and has over 20 years of dental experience. She moved to Belleview in 2018.

She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, son and their 3 dogs. She is most happy when they go paddle boarding or out at the rifle range.

Morgan, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Team member)

Morgan earned her expanded functions dental assistant certification and dental radiology certification from Concorde Career Institute in 2014.

Morgan is a native Floridian as she was born and raised in Clermont, FL. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. They enjoy anything outdoors, but especially "mudding" and boating.

Burgundy graduated from Daytona Beach Community College in 1998 with her certification in dental assisting. In addition to providing excellent care for our patients, Burgundy also works as an instructor at a school for students aspiring to be dental assistants. Burgundy is the proud mother of two boys and enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys hunting and fishing.

DeLynn is a dedicated dental professional who graduated from Remington College in Tampa, Florida, in 2011. Since then, she has been committed to enhancing the dental experience for her patients. With a passion for fostering comfort and confidence, DeLynn prioritizes listening to her patients' needs and customizing their individual oral health journeys. Outside of her professional endeavors, she cherishes spending quality time with her family, creating lasting memories, and sharing laughter.
